Wherever you are, there is space to find some calm now as well as during the holidays. Taking time to look after our minds and bodies (especially during the holidays) is far from selfish.

Fudgy Sweet Potato Brownies
This week in the Freya kitchen, we are cooking up some fudgy sweet potato protein brownies. With the changing of seasons, what our bodies crave changes too. This is a great transitional recipe from summer to spring with the addition of sweet potatoes. This recipe is inspired by Making the Thyme for Health’s blog. I added some chia seeds to boost the fiber, iron, and omegas in this recipe which are great for baby’s eyes and brain growth as well as postpartum depression.
