Doula Support with Freya Movement
We honor birth as a powerful, natural process—one that deserves informed support, unwavering presence, and deep trust in your choices. As your birth doula, we walk alongside you, providing scientifically backed educational, emotional and physical support throughout your journey.
Our work together begins with prenatal sessions, where we explore your birth preferences, practice comfort measures, and ensure you feel confident in your options.
When your birthing time comes, we'll be by your side, offering steady reassurance, hands-on support, and continuous guidance for both you and your birth partner(s). Our role is to advocate for your wishes, facilitate clear communication with your care team, and help create a birth space where you feel heard, empowered, and supported.
After birth, we’ll have a postpartum visit to process your experience, check in on your recovery, and provide any resources or support you may need in this tender transition.

Postpartum Doula Support with Freya Movement
The early postpartum period is a time of immense change—beautiful, challenging, and full of discovery. At Freya Movement, we offer compassionate, hands-on postpartum doula support to help you transition into this new season with confidence, rest, and ease.
As your postpartum doula, we provide physical, emotional, and practical support in the days, weeks, and months after birth. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, we're here to nurture you while you nurture your little one. Together, we’ll tailor our support to meet your needs, whether that’s hands-on newborn care, feeding support, or simply creating space for you to rest and recover.
Here are some practical ways we support you during postpartum:
Newborn Care Guidance – Helping with soothing techniques, diapering, swaddling, and general baby care.
Feeding Support – Whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or a combination, we offer guidance and referrals as needed.
Emotional Support – Holding space for your birth processing, emotions, and the transition into parenthood.
Sleep & Rest Support – Helping establish sleep rhythms, watching over the baby while you nap, and offering strategies for rest.
Meal Preparation & Nourishment – Preparing simple, nutrient-dense meals and snacks to support postpartum recovery.
Light Housekeeping – Tackling dishes, tidying up, doing some laundry, and keeping your space feeling peaceful

Looking for personalized guidance as you prepare for birth and beyond? Our Freya Doula Info Sessions are designed for individuals or couples who want dedicated time with an experienced, compassionate doula—on your terms.
In these 2-3 hour private sessions, you’ll have the space to ask questions, explore your birth preferences, and work through anything that’s on your mind with expert support. Whether you want to:
Build confidence in your birth preferences
Learn comfort measures & hands-on techniques
Practice breathwork & relaxation strategies
Prepare for postpartum recovery & newborn care
Navigate emotional & mental readiness for birth

After your session, your doula will send you a custom follow-up with additional research, resources, and answers to any questions that come up.
